All three apps offer photo collages and carousel-related tools. The important distinction is how you build a layout, which extras you need, and what is included for free.

DuoCanvas divides a photo or canvas into regions using your drawn lines, then exports the pieces or fills the regions with photos. SCRL describes an open canvas for layered arrangements. Neither workflow is inherently better; choose based on the composition you want.
